**New Hire Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 (50% paid after 6 months, 50% paid after 12 months of continuous employment.)

The Milieu Coordinator is a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team that works to improve mental health functioning of youth in residential programs at YOU, Inc. The Milieu Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of a therapeutic milieu that operates safely, efficiently, effectively and in a strengths-based, trauma informed manner. This position requires flexibility, including working regular evening and weekend shifts, as well as being part of an on-call rotation.
YOU, Inc is seeking a talented Clinician to join our team at the Village STARR program in Worcester, MA!The clinician will be responsible for providing short-term individual, family, and group therapy to support youth in stabilizing so that they can safely return to their community setting or next placement. At times, the clinician may need to be in ratio to provide clinical support to the residential counselors and to support the needs and safety of the program.
The clinician is responsible for contributing to the successful operation of the acute-care therapeutic milieu that operates safely, efficiently, effectively and in a strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma informed manner. The R.C. manages the residence, living in a separate 1 BR apartment, and directly reports to the Assistant Program Director, who oversees Residential Life. Compensation includes housing and utilities for the duration of the appointment as well as a bi-weekly check accounting for the 40 hours per week average worked. Students are in residence for 8-10 weeks at a time for a total of 30 weeks of the year (September-May). Experience in college residential life highly desirable. To this end, the Relief Residential Counselor is part of a pool of staff that provides intermittent and/or seasonal staffing support as needed. The Relief Residential Counselor works as part of a shift of staff, led by a shift supervisor, all of whom are in a specific client to staff ratio, with the responsibility for creating and maintaining a therapeutic treatment milieu. Relief Residential Counselors are considered “essential employees” when they are on shift and as such may be mandated to work beyond their scheduled shift in order to maintain client - staff ratios and/or be required to report to work if they are scheduled to work during declared states of emergency.
