Seven Hills Pediatric Center is a Pediatric Skilled Nursing Community unlike any other. As a Physical Therapist at Seven Hills Pediatric Center, your role is crucial in providing physical therapy services to medically complex and fragile children. Physical Therapy services provided within this setting include, but not limited to, annual evaluations, IEPs, wheelchair assessment and letters of medical necessity, orthopedic bracing assessment, communication with Orthopedic and Physiatry physicians, and participation in inter-disciplinary meetings. Your responsibilities involve both hands-on interventions and required documentation to enhance the overall quality of life and physical well-being of pediatric patients.

Job Duties:
· Coordinate the care for student with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, life threatening allergies, seizure disorders etc.,
· Communicate with staff to ensure the health and well-being of the students.
· Write care plans
· Administering prescribed medications per physicians’ orders and monitor delegated medication administration.
· Provide first aid care/treatment for minor injuries
· Health assessments, treating per protocol, or referring to physician for care, as necessary.
· Educate and train staff about asthma, life threatening allergies, diabetes, and infection control.
Implements and documents physical therapy treatment programs for children and adults as determined by the supervising physical therapist.
Assists with orthopedic, orthotic and wheelchair clinics and orientation.
