To assist in the coordination of all Family Services within the assigned area in cooperation with team members, families, DDS personnel and consumers. The purpose of this position is to increase the capacity of a family to remain intact while reducing the need for residential services for people with disabilities. This position is also responsible for creating Family Support Plans that identify the areas necessary for an individual to reach their personal best. Home visits and maintaining regular and ongoing contact with the families/individuals is critical. This position will work on achieving two goals: Positive and meaningful social circle and positive and meaningful work.

This position is the literacy coach at the elementary school level. Position is at an hourly rate, for part-time hours for 8-9 weeks during the summer plus additional planning and meeting times in the spring and early fall.

Under tThe Instructional Designer is an integral part of the Learning and Development team and will play a pivotal role in the conception, design, and implementation of innovative competency-based curriculum and eLearning solutions for adult learnings and professional staff (nurses, educators, clinicians, senior managers.)
The Residential Coordinator (R.C.) is a live-in, dorm-parent position giving support to gap year students (ages 17-22) living in on-site apartments. R.C.’s typically work approximately 40 evening and weekend hours per week, and must be in residence overnight whenever students are in residence. The R.C. is a mentor to students, supplementing the work of the full-time program staff, as well as applying disciplinary policies when necessary. The R.C. manages the residence, living in a separate 1 BR apartment, and directly reports to the Assistant Program Director, who oversees Residential Life. Compensation includes housing and utilities for the duration of the appointment as well as a bi-weekly check accounting for the 40 hours per week average worked. Students are in residence for 8-10 weeks at a time for a total of 30 weeks of the year (September-May). Experience in college residential life highly desirable.
