Stetson School, an affiliate of the Seven Hills Foundation is hiring a Special Education Teacher.
The Special Education Teacher teaches elementary, middle school and/or secondary school subjects in a special education environment and helps students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible, and productive citizens. Prepares lesson plans that reflect Massachusetts’ curriculum frameworks and individualizes instruction based on student needs. Develops Individual Education Programs and documents students’ progress. Aids students with behavioral, emotional and/or physical needs or disabilities. Stetson school observes a 216-day school calendar plus 2 professional development days.
Other duties include:
- Prepares and implements lesson plans to meet individual needs of students, considering state and agency requirements, and the physical, emotional, and educational levels of student development. Lesson plans reflect the MA curriculum frameworks.
- Designs, modifies and/or selects instructional materials and strategies appropriate to individual student needs.
- Employs differentiated instruction using a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media and materials.
- Utilizes appropriate assessment techniques, instructional materials, and strategies to implement instruction with a variety of learners.
- Designs, develops, and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
- Develops and attends Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings for assigned students.
- Models and demonstrates caregiver qualities that treat all students and staff with dignity and respect, creating a warm, nurturing classroom environment for student learning.
- Manages student behaviors within their classroom to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for students.
- Works closely with ABC I in implementing individual behavior plans.
- Teaches socially acceptable behavior employing techniques such as behavior modifications and positive reinforcement.
- Student Supervision and Behavior Management
- Additions Program support duties may be assigned may be assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Administers annual standardized assessment to assigned students.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Physical management of students when necessary to maintain safety of students and staff.

The HR/IT Business Systems Analyst serves as a bridge between the Human Resources and Information Technology departments, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of HR systems, processes and data. This role involves analyzing HR operational needs, translating them into technical requirements, collaborating with IT for system enhancements, managing HR system implementations, and providing training and support to end users.
The Technical Training Specialist reports directly to the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) and plays a pivotal role in shaping the technical competencies within Seven Hills Foundation and its Affiliates. This role focuses on creating, managing, and delivering high-quality educational services that encompass various facets of technical training, including but not limited to information systems.

Implementing skills training for students, including: daily living and eating skills, leisure activities, mobility and pool programs. Implement various skill training programs for severely disabled students.
To assist in the coordination of all Family Services within the assigned area in cooperation with team members, families, DDS personnel and consumers. The purpose of this position is to increase the capacity of a family to remain intact while reducing the need for residential services for people with disabilities. This position is also responsible for creating Family Support Plans that identify the areas necessary for an individual to reach their personal best. Home visits and maintaining regular and ongoing contact with the families/individuals is critical. This position will work on achieving two goals: Positive and meaningful social circle and positive and meaningful work.
Implements and documents physical therapy treatment programs for children and adults as determined by the supervising physical therapist.
Assists with orthopedic, orthotic and wheelchair clinics and orientation.

The RN Supervisor bears full responsibility for the quality of the healthcare they, themselves, provide. The RN Supervisor is responsible for each individual to live a safe, enjoyable life in their community with opportunities to learn and to exercise increasing independence and control over their lives. The agency and its employees are responsible to the people we support.
