Under supervision of the SHNH Clinical Director, the Speech-Language Pathologist provide assessment and treatment of elementary- and/or secondary school-aged children with developmental or acquired disorders, including neurological, physical, psychiatric, and/or multiple disabilities. The Speech-Language Pathologist is a contributing member of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with families, program staff, and other key stakeholders to improve outcomes and to promote wraparound care. The Speech-Language Pathologist serves as a clinical consultant to a caseload of children across settings, providing staff professional training as part of their program consultation. Maintains compliance with applicable regulations and policies and engages in ongoing professional development and systems improvement in effort to support systems-wide interventions as well as direct/indirect interventions for children.
The Speech-Language Pathologist is provided with a laptop, cell phone and email to perform job duties. Travel may be required.

To provide a coordinated plan for Crotched Mountain Accessible Recreation and Sports to include policies/procedures, community programming, and revenue production. Provide Recreational Therapy to caseload of students at Crotched Mountain Residential School. Work is performed with a high degree of independence, requiring only substantive supervision from the Assistant Vice President.
This position is responsible for providing support, coaching, and mentoring to applicants and employees of SHNH. This position will support the career advancement needs of new and current employee of SHNH. The Career Support and Advancement Navigator’s role is to provide support, education, training and mentoring for employees to successfully enter and advance in the at SHNH and in the Human Services Field. The goal of the position is to help address workforce challenges experienced in the behavioral health and human services field.

The Recreation Therapist is responsible for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating assigned clients treatment plans. Specific diagnosis may involve but are not limited: autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, emotional disorders, medically frail conditions, neurological impairments, spinal cord injury, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other conditions that compromise respiratory health.
