The Residential Coordinator (R.C.) is a live-in, dorm-parent position giving support to gap year students (ages 17-22) living in on-site apartments. R.C.’s typically work approximately 40 evening and weekend hours per week, and must be in residence overnight whenever students are in residence. The R.C. is a mentor to students, supplementing the work of the full-time program staff, as well as applying disciplinary policies when necessary. The R.C. manages the residence, living in a separate 1 BR apartment, and directly reports to the Assistant Program Director, who oversees Residential Life. Compensation includes housing and utilities for the duration of the appointment as well as a bi-weekly check accounting for the 40 hours per week average worked. Students are in residence for 8-10 weeks at a time for a total of 30 weeks of the year (September-May). Experience in college residential life highly desirable. BASIC PURPOSE: The Residential Coordinator provides leadership in a manner that complements the mission of Dynamy and YOU, Inc. and as a team member of Dynamy Residential Life. The Residential Coordinator must be dedicated to building a dynamic, nourishing, and enriching residence community that fosters respect, support and independence. As a member of the Residential Life Staff, the Residential Coordinator is responsible for administering a variety of operational, educational, counseling, and disciplinary intervention components that are designed to foster personal development and a sense of community within the Residence.

The Health Educator serves as community resources regarding reproductive and sexual health, with the goal of assisting individuals, groups, families and communities in the acquisition of skills and competencies related to making healthy life choices and breaking unhealthy habits. The Health Educator, under the direction of the Program Coordinator, is responsible for overall health communication activity, and teaching students about behaviors that promote wellness during programming in the public schools, afterschool programs, and at events in the Southbridge community. The Health Educator provides sexual health education to students ages 9-24 in the community of Southbridge. This 12-month position works flexible hours during the summer and then in the schools primarily during school hours (M-F 7:30am – 3:30pm) throughout the school year. The Health Educator will receive extensive training in evidence-based curriculum to be implemented in schools and in the community of Southbridge, and will teach as a team for the first quarter of the school year before teaching independently. The health educator will use appropriate strategies, and methods to facilitate health promotion and disease prevention. This unique position allows the health educator to connect youth and their families to community support services within and outside of YOU Inc. This position requires reliable transportation to get back and forth from the schools and community settings to the office throughout the day.

The Relief Residential Counselor provides direct care to youth in one of YOU, Inc.’s 24-hour/7-day-a-week acute or congregate care settings. To this end, the Relief Residential Counselor is part of a pool of staff that provides intermittent and/or seasonal staffing support as needed. The Relief Residential Counselor works as part of a shift of staff, led by a shift supervisor, all of whom are in a specific client to staff ratio, with the responsibility for creating and maintaining a therapeutic treatment milieu. Relief Residential Counselors are considered “essential employees” when they are on shift and as such may be mandated to work beyond their scheduled shift in order to maintain client - staff ratios and/or be required to report to work if they are scheduled to work during declared states of emergency. The Relief Residential Counselor insures the safety and supervision of youth, cultivates a therapeutic treatment milieu, maintains appropriate boundaries while developing supportive professional relationships with youth, participates in the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility, documents client care as required or directed, and if necessary, utilizes agency physical management interventions.

  The Congregate Care Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing and participating in the direct medical care and treatment of clients along with supervision of all nursing staff. The primary responsibility of this position is to support and oversee MAP at all You Inc Congregate Care programs as the MAP Coordinator. This position is also responsible for monitoring policies, procedures, nursing assessments, nursing consultation, and training/ supervision medication administration for staff.    

To oversee and monitor the Coordination of Shared Living Adult Foster Care supports in assigned area. To assure compliance with State, Federal and other regulatory agencies. To work in cooperation with the team members, funding sources, families and contracted Shared Living Providers. This position is responsible for the day- today operations of Shared Living/ Adult Foster Care supports in assigned program area, with the goal of providing quality care and physical well being of individuals within the Seven Hills Family Services, Inc. To serve Seven Hills Family Services, Inc., as a Frontline Supervisor Team Member.

$65,000 Annually   The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the clinical practice and case management of a specific service/programmatic area (see list above). To that end the clinical coordinator may act as a liaison between the agency and external entities involved the specific service area. The clinical coordinator will oversee the performance of direct care clinical staff, counseling staff and/or casework staff in that specialty area. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for understanding the clinical specialty area and will ensure that services are delivered in compliance with best practice standards, contracting and regulatory entities’ performance specifications, agency policies, procedures and regulations. If appropriate, the clinical coordinator will ensure that his/her supervisees provide high-quality clinical care in keeping with best practices and that those supervisees attend to risk issues, documentation of care, timeliness of documentation, professionalism, productivity, and administrative issues related to providing clinical care. The Clinical Coordinator will also provide direct services to clients at an established productivity proportionate to other responsibilities.

The Director of Clinical Operations for congregate care will oversee the clinical operations within YOU, Inc.’s residential services component. To this end, the Director will ensure the successful clinical and milieu operations of one or more EEC-licensed residential facilities. Residential programs operate 24-hour/day, 7-days a week, and as such the Director has responsibility to respond to critical programming needs at any hour. Together with the Director of Residential Operations, The Director of Clinical Operations will be responsible for the clinical, financial, regulatory, personnel, community relations, technological, and facility needs of running the residential program(s). The Director will report to the Vice President of Congregate Care and will work in collaboration with the Medical Director, the Senior Director for Quality Management, the Compliance Director, and the Senior Leadership of the agency.
