Pay:  $27 - $28 / hour

Sign-on Bonus: $2500 

 

Position Summary:
The Seven Hills Foundation is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Assistant Area Director – Day Program to support the leadership and daily operations of our Adult Day Health, Activities, and Supported Employment services. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality, person-centered supports for individuals and their families, while maintaining compliance, fiscal responsibility, and staff excellence.

The Assistant Area Director will assist with overseeing program operations, developing and improving services, supervising staff, and ensuring that programs align with the organization’s mission, values, and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration, advocacy, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Area Director in managing day program operations across assigned sites.

  • Oversee service delivery and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Supervise and mentor staff to promote professional growth, accountability, and performance excellence.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, funding sources, and regulatory agencies.

  • Participate in program planning, quality improvement initiatives, and incident review processes.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality, and documentation standards.

  • Advocate for the rights, dignity, and independence of individuals with developmental disabilities.

  • Represent Seven Hills professionally within the community and among partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5–10 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in human services, healthcare, or related fields.

  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Valid standard driver’s license (Class C or D).
