Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and serving sizes
  • Set up and organize the serving line for each meal
  • Serve food to students and staff in a professional and respectful manner
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment after use
  • Assist with stocking and storing food deliveries
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including ServSafe guidelines
  • Support team operations and assist with additional kitchen duties as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety practices
  • Good judgment and a dependable, team-focused attitude
  • Ability to stay active, organized, and alert throughout your shift
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow dress code, including uniform, gloves, and hair restraints

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET required
  • 0–3 years of cooking or food service experience preferred
  • ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license
