Crotched Mountain School (CMS), part of the Seven Hills New Hampshire network, is seeking a Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to provide compassionate, detail-oriented medical support to our residential school students.

Located on a 145-acre campus in Greenfield, NH, CMS serves children and young adults ages 5–21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, and other complex developmental disabilities. Position Summary

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Medication Nursing Assistant administers medications and treatments to stable residential students and completes all required documentation in accordance with established nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

As a direct support professional, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized health and care plans while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer scheduled and PRN medications as delegated by an RN or LPN

  • Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration at all times

  • Document all medication administration or refusals in the MAR per policy

  • Count, administer, and document controlled substances

  • Monitor students’ medical needs in accordance with MARs, TARs, IEPs, and residential care plans

  • Obtain and record vital signs, heights, and weights as requested

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant medication room and cart

  • Monitor medication inventory and coordinate reorders with pharmacy and central supply

  • Report medication errors, adverse reactions, or concerns promptly to nursing staff

  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding medication supplies

  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols

  • Complete required continuing education and professional development

  • Uphold the mission, values, and ethical standards of Seven Hills New Hampshire

Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED/HiSET

    • Valid, unrestricted Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a licensed MNA

    • Standard Driver’s License (Class C or D)
