Looking for a reliable, hands-on role where your work truly matters? Join our Food Services team as a Dishwasher and help keep our kitchen running safely, smoothly, and clean. No experience? We’ll train you!

The Dishwasher supports kitchen staff in providing food service to residents, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions, following established policies and procedures. This role works across the main kitchen, school kitchen, dish room, serving areas, and off-site locations as needed.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

    • Ensure dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for use

    • Operate and maintain the dish machine according to safety and manufacturer standards

    • Set up and close down the dish room following established procedures

    • Keep kitchen and dish areas clean—sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash

    • Maintain proper sanitation solutions at all times

    • Organize clean dishes, pots, and utensils on designated shelves

    • Assist with labeling, covering, and storing food after meals

    • Help with basic food prep, stocking supplies, and food deliveries as needed

    • Pitch in wherever needed; teamwork makes the kitchen work!

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

    • No prior experience required; training provided

    • Basic knowledge of sanitation and dishwasher operations is helpful, but not required

    • Comfortable using kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, stoves, mixers, and coffee machines

    • Dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to keep things clean and organized

    • Must be able to read and write.
