Overview

$70,000 Annually; additional 5K annually if bilingual in eligible languages or if independently licensed 

Payment for this role is based on an hourly rate, not tied to a fee-for-service schedule.

 

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our CBHI Home-Based Services team, providing high-quality clinical care to children, adolescents, and their families in their homes and communities. In this role, you will deliver individualized therapy, treatment planning, and case management services, working directly with clients to address mental health challenges and support their overall well-being. The clinician will collaborate with other team members to ensure services are effective, evidence-based, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role also provides the opportunity to earn supervision hours for overall license eligibility. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide home-based individual therapy, family therapy, and case management services to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough clinical assessments.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety planning, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure services are client-centered, evidence-based, and meet medical necessity criteria.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Therapeutic Mentors, Therapeutic Training and Support (TT&S) staff, and In-Home Therapists (IHT), to provide comprehensive care.
  • Adhere to confidentiality standards, HIPAA regulations, and ethical guidelines in all client interactions.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Meet productivity expectations by maintaining a caseload, which may include evening hours.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field that qualifies you for licensure in Massachusetts (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC).
  • Active CANS certification required.
  • Experience providing home-based or community-based mental health services preferred.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments, treatment planning, and case management.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and trauma-informed care.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to client homes.
