Seven Hills NeuroCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residence Director I to oversee residential supports and daily operations for individuals we serve. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, strong staff leadership, and full implementation of each participant’s Individual Support Plan (ISP).

As a Residence Director, you’ll lead with purpose—balancing operational oversight, clinical coordination, and people-centered leadership to create a safe, respectful, and empowering home environment.

 

Salary: $60,632 Annually ($29.15/hour; additional $1.00/hour differential for active MAP certification)

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Program Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily residential operations and ensure services align with regulatory and organizational standards

  • Implement and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and support strategies

  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance within the electronic health record (EHR) and funder systems

  • Participate in Seven Hills NeuroCare meetings and collaborate across affiliates

Participant-Centered Support

  • Coordinate participant involvement in planning decisions that impact their lives

  • Support healthcare coordination, medical appointments, and treatment compliance

  • Promote independence in daily living, financial skills, and community integration

  • Serve as a liaison with families, guardians, and community providers

Medication, Health & Safety

  • Maintain current medication and treatment orders in compliance with MAP standards

  • Conduct MAP audits and ensure safe medication administration

  • Respond effectively to emergencies and safety concerns

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment

Financial Oversight

  • Support participant financial management in accordance with policy

  • Ensure personal funds are used appropriately and accounts are balanced

  • Oversee petty cash and ensure timely payment of participant expenses

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support direct support professionals

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations

  • Facilitate staff meetings, coaching, and problem-solving discussions

  • Ensure staffing schedules meet participant needs and regulatory requirements

  • Approve overtime in coordination with the Area Director

Compliance & Reporting

  • Submit incident reports within required timelines

  • Maintain supervision files and payroll documentation

  • Safeguard confidential and sensitive information

  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and funder regulations are followed

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1–3 years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience in health and human services strongly preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Familiarity with MAP and EHR systems preferred

  • Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with safe driving record

  • Willingness to maintain required trainings and certifications

  • Availability for on-call responsibilities as assigned
