Painter
Pay: $21.00 / hr
Seven Hills Rhode Island is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to support the maintenance and upkeep of agency-owned group homes and office spaces across the state. This position plays an important role in ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments for the individuals we support and the staff who serve them. The Painter is responsible for performing a variety of interior and exterior painting and surface maintenance tasks. This includes surface preparation, trim and detail work, deck staining, ceiling projects, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, manages time effectively, and completes projects efficiently and professionally.

Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and office locations
Prepare surfaces through sanding, patching, priming, and cleaning
Complete trim work, ceiling painting, and deck staining projects
Maintain safe work practices and comply with all safety guidelines
Ensure work areas are clean and orderly upon project completion
Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and team members
Manage assigned tasks and schedules to meet project timelines
Support the organization’s commitment to maintaining well-kept, safe environments
High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required
0–3 years of related painting or maintenance experience preferred
Valid Class C or Class D driver’s license
No professional license or certifications required
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Effective verbal and written communication skills
