We’re seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supervisor to support youth with complex medical and behavioral needs in a trauma-informed, therapeutic residential setting. This role blends hands-on support, team leadership, and clinical awareness in a highly meaningful environment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a shift of DSP staff while working in ratio

  • Create, maintain, and model a safe, therapeutic treatment milieu

  • Ensure youth safety, structure, and engagement throughout the day

  • Coach, guide, and support staff to promote teamwork and professionalism

  • Monitor daily programming and intervene proactively to prevent crisis

  • Document care, complete shift notes, and follow treatment plans

  • Support daily operations including meals, chores, and unit upkeep

  • Use CPI-approved de-escalation strategies; physical intervention only when necessary

  • Serve as an essential employee and respond during emergencies as required

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1–3 years of experience working with youth in a residential setting

  • Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and calm under pressure

  • Strong communication, boundary-setting, and team-building skills

  • Trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
