YOU Inc. is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and mission-driven Program Director to lead our Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) programs, including In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring services. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed behavioral health professional who is passionate about helping children and adolescents thrive in their homes and communities.

 

The Program Director will oversee daily program operations, ensure compliance with MassHealth and CBHI regulations, and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and family-centered care. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring programs.

  • Ensure program compliance with CBHI, MassHealth, and DMH standards and guidelines.

  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, therapeutic mentors, and support staff.

  • Oversee the intake process, treatment planning, and coordination of care to ensure high-quality outcomes.

  • Develop and enhance program protocols and clinical practices to meet the diverse needs of families.

  • Promote a supportive, collaborative, and learning-focused work environment that encourages professional growth.

  • Manage program budgets, billing, and reporting to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to funding requirements.

  • Track and analyze program performance, implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, healthcare providers, and social service agencies.

  • Represent YOU Inc. and the CBHI program at community events, meetings, and professional gatherings.

  • Provide leadership and guidance in crisis situations and complex case consultations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree required.

  • Licensure: Active Behavioral Health Clinical License required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years of related experience in children’s behavioral health, in-home therapy, or community-based mental health services.

    • Experience as a direct supervisor.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.

    • Excellent knowledge of CBHI and MassHealth regulations.

    • Expertise in trauma-informed and family-centered care.

    • Budget and financial management experience.

    • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams and community partners.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid Class C or D driver’s license.

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call or after-hours responsibilities.
