Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Director I – Pediatric Congregate Care to oversee the daily operations of a residential program serving children with medical complexity and intellectual disabilities under the age of 22. This leadership role ensures high-quality, responsive care and fosters an environment of dignity, empowerment, and respect for all individuals served.

 

This position serves at the Medically Complex Behavioral Residence in Groton, Massachusetts, providing individualized, trauma-informed care for youth ages 12–18 with both complex medical and behavioral needs in a supportive and therapeutic environment

 

Pay: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facets of residential programming, including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and service delivery
  • Serve as primary contact for families, guardians, clinicians, physicians, and agency partners (DCF, DMH, DPH, DDS)
  • Lead and support staff in implementing therapeutic interventions and service plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review educational and service goals
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in intake procedures and support personal care needs of program participants
  • Coordinate training programs and documentation systems
  • Promote choice, independence, and dignity for all individuals served
  • Provide on-call support to ensure effective communication and continuity of care

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (required)
  • Experience: 3–5 years of related experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid required
  • Driver’s License: Standard Class C or D license required
  • Preferred: Pediatric experience
