Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Nursing Staff Scheduling Coordinator to manage daily, weekly, and long-term staffing schedules for our clinical team. This includes nursing supervisors, nurses, CNAs, and Unit Assistants. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal staffing levels that meet resident needs, regulatory standards, and facility goals—while supporting staff well-being in a dynamic healthcare environment.

 

Pay: [$25 to $27]

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain 4-week staffing plans and daily staffing sheets.
  • Ensure staffing aligns with resident census, acuity, and compliance standards.
  • Adjust schedules for absences, callouts, and time-off requests.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and employee health to forecast staffing needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules for new hires with Staff Development.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff availability, preferences, and commitments.
  • Minimize overtime and resolve staffing inconsistencies.
  • Support recruitment efforts by identifying staffing gaps.
  • Assist with payroll/HRIS updates and monitor staff clocked hours.
  • Communicate staffing issues to ADON, DON, and nursing supervisors.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required. Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of related experience required; 2+ years in healthcare scheduling or administration preferred.
  • Standard driver’s license (Class C or D).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with long-term care, hospital, or pediatric settings is a plus.
