The Therapy CNA provides high-quality, hands-on care that supports residents’ mobility, independence, and overall well-being. This role works closely with licensed therapists (PT, OT, SLP) to implement individualized therapy plans and support clinical programs designed to maintain and improve residents' functional abilities.

Compensation - $26hr
Assist residents with ADLs, integrating therapeutic strategies (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, mobility).
Carry out individualized restorative care plans (ROM exercises, ambulation, alternative positioning, communication support).
Supervise residents 1:1 as needed, ensuring safety and care plan implementation.
Lead stretching, standing, and mobility-based programs.
Support therapy clinics (wheelchair, brace, orthopedic/physiatry).
Maintain and troubleshoot durable medical equipment (standers, gait trainers, wheelchairs, etc.).
Provide input and assist with care plan development alongside therapy staff.
Coach CNAs in therapeutic approaches and safe mobility techniques.
Participate in interdisciplinary groups, outings, and engagement sessions.
Assist in therapy staff orientation and lead in-service training in restorative nursing techniques.
Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and infection control standards.
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET
Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Massachusetts required
Experience: 0–3 years of CNA experience; minimum 6 months pediatric CNA experience preferred (especially at Seven Hills Pediatric Center)
Certifications: CPR and First Aid (current and maintained)
Driving License: Valid standard Class C or D license
Continuing Education: Must complete 12 hours annually, including mandatory training in Infection Control, Fire Safety, Resident Rights, Sexual Harassment, Hazard Communication, and CPR updates
Strong foundational CNA skills and a willingness to learn advanced therapeutic care practices
