Overview

Provide office and administrative support to the Director of Education: typing, maintaining filing system, student/resident tracking, supplies, ordering, coordinating with school systems, parent contacts, progress notes and daily attendance.

 

Compensation: $21.62

Responsibilities

General office typing-reports, order forms, educational forms, letters, and other related material for the Education Department.


General office copying and collating, including occasional bulk mailings and newsletters.


Working with the Director of Education and other education department staff to ensure that all required paperwork is completed and filed/distributed appropriately, such as meetings, notices, quarterly progress reports, IEPs, Etc.


Ordering of supplies, equipment, filing invoices, storage of supplies/materials and collaboration with Business Office regarding billing/payment.


Monthly Medicaid sheets and attendance to school systems.


Coordinating documentation with other departments.


Typing reports for the school consultants.


Working with the Director of Education to ensure that all State and Local education paperwork is completed and on file.


Act as a liaison with office staff of various school systems and regulatory agencies regarding mandated reports, updates on student status, etc.


Carry out all responsibilities professionally and efficiently.


Work in harmony and in support of the Seven Hills foundation operating subsidiaries.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED/HiSET required


3 – 5 years of related experience

 

Knowledge of current Massachusetts regulations (603 CMR 28.00), IEP/ISP and Department of Education Regulations preferred.


Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite 365, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
