Job Type: Full-Time

Salary:  $52,500.00 to $62,500.00 per year

Position Summary:
As an Adoption Specialist, you will provide comprehensive adoption services, including case management, home studies, child adoption assessments, and more. You will collaborate with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), maintain critical records, and ensure confidentiality while supporting children and families in achieving permanency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases of children with a goal of permanency.
  • Conduct individual, group, and family evaluations and treatment services.
  • Perform home visits, assessments, and adoption evaluations.
  • Participate in adoption events and maintain relationships with DCF case referral sources.
  • Prepare timely notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a related master’s degree. AND/OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minimum of three years clinical experience working with children, adults, and families

  • Valid Massachusetts social work license or meet the eligibility requirements to apply for licensure.

  • Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
