Pay: $27-$29/hr

 

Position Overview:
Make a meaningful impact as an Instructor at Seven Hills Pediatric Center, where you will provide specialized education and care for residents with severe special needs. Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team, develop and implement curriculum, and foster a positive learning environment. This role combines teaching, planning, and supervision to enhance the quality of life and learning for those we serve.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized curriculum and weekly instruction plans.
  • Supervise and evaluate teacher assistants, modeling best practices and teaching new skills.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, social workers, and other team members to support residents’ needs.
  • Provide instruction in diverse settings, including classrooms, bedside, or community spaces.
  • Participate in resident assessments, ISP/IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary planning.
  • Manage educational materials and maintain a safe, organized learning environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a related field preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance) and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Other Requirements: Standard driver’s license; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
