Stetson School is an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation. We are a residential treatment program for youth with trauma related complex behaviors, currently hiring a Case Manager. 

  

The Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to students and their families; initial and on-going collateral work with referral sources, guardians, courts, school systems, and coordination of internal services that include quality assurance and service planning with a high level of organization and attention to detail.  The Case Manager will work as part of the treatment team and will participate, collaboratively, in an overall approach to treatment combining direct and indirect treatment work. 

 

  • Provide professional presentation when representing the agency with external parties.
  • Complies with state reporting requirements in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensures that team staff work within the Family Engagement model, and treat all family members, guardians, and visitors with dignity and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with funding agencies in the best interest of the student and community and alerts appropriate administrator(s) in the identification of potential conflicts.
  • Assists with arranging transportation for visits and travels with youth to court appointments.
  • Acts as a role model and reinforces pro-social behaviors with students and staff.
  • Promotes staff interventions that support the Stetson School’s ACORN approach.

Case Managers are provided a paid 10-day New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention & Trauma-Informed Care. They also receive program-specific training at the worksite.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 18+ years old
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
  • Must pass Criminal, DCF Abuse and Neglect, Sex offender Registry and Federal
    Fingerprinting background record checks.

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Team Player
  • Energetic and Activity Oriented
  • Compassionate and Empathetic
  • Minimum of two years human service experience preferred
  • Prior experience working with troubled adolescents and/or sexual offenders
