Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging academic and life skills instruction tailored to individual student needs. You'll create a dynamic classroom environment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. • Utilize effective teaching methodologies like Applied Behavior Analysis or Collaborative Problem Solving.
• Design and deliver customized lesson plans for individual and group learning.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress through assessments and detailed reporting.
• Work closely with other professionals and communicate with parents to support student development.
• Manage and support classroom staff and participate in ongoing professional development.

• New Hampshire Special Education Teacher Certification required.
• Experience with students with disabilities and in assessment/report writing preferred.
