Provide clinical support for any student in the Gap Year program who Is in need of clinical services, while providing advising support to an identified caseload of students.
Meeting with assigned students on a weekly basis;
Meeting with others in need of support on an as needed basis, creating safety contracts, providing support to staff around clinical issues/concerns;
Interview students and parents as part of the admission process;
Oversee the management and distribution of student medications;
Developing internship sites;
Developing and implementing psychoeducational workshops for students;
Interview students and parents as part of the admission process;
Maintain contact with families and therapists Assisting students in finding appropriate services within the community;
All other duties that are necessary to support the program.
Master’s degree in a clinical or counseling program required;
A successful candidate can be working toward receiving their licensure.
Experience in education/youth development/mentoring/learning differences required.
Preference given to candidates who have 2-4 years of experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
