Every staff is a leader in developing a healing environment that promotes a healthy life and teaches social skills to our students.
Cooks report directly to the Food Services Manager and is responsible for the preparation of meals, for the serving of food, and the cleanliness and sanitation of the school kitchen.
Prepares and cooks meals for residents and staff by performing the following duties:
Prepares food according to menu and the number of persons to be served.
Organizes food items on serving line at each meal.
Serves meal to residents and staff.
Washes pots and pans.
Engage and interact with our students promoting a positive and healing community by serving as a positive role model.

Cooks are provided a paid 10-day New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention & Trauma-Informed Care. They also receive program-specific training at the worksite.
