The  Job Developer supports individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment in the community.  In this role you help create job opportunities for individuals by researching and  identifying  current job openings with potential employers   This role works with individuals to explore and identify their skills and interest to help secure employment. They  provide continued support to individuals in employment to help foster continued success in the workplace.

  • Supports participants in discovering their strengths, needs and interests with the goal of obtaining employment
  • Research and maintains current job listings 
  • Coach and support individuals secure and keep employment 
  • Work closely with employers in the community building relationships that lead to employment opportunities
  • Complete all required reports and billing meeting all deadlines
  • Facilitate teamwork between all team members via open communication, sharing of responsibilities and a positive, constructive attitude


Bachelor’s degree required; Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management. Experience may substitute for degree

ACRE or CESP certification strongly preferred - required within 6 months of hire 

3+ year experience in leading programs for people with developmental disabilities; previous experience in business, marketing or working with individuals with disabilities in vocational rehabilitation setting is required


Excellent organizational and leadership skills; ability to work with multiple constituency groups, including funders, parents and funders.

Knowledgeable in the use of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet; willing to learn electronic health record.

Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record  and access to an insured vehicle
