The Clinical Supervisor provides home based clinical services to support children with developmental delays and behavioral challenges in their homes and the community.  This role develops treatment plans and trains staff in the implementation of the  plan.  The Clinician  provides individual and group supervision of Home Base Therapeutic Supports (HBTS)  workers.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with children with a wide range of disabilities and his or her family to develop an Individualized Treatment Plan where various behavioral and social goals are addressed
  • Instructs and observes home based workers on proper implementation of the treatment plan making modifications where needed
  • Provides individual and group supervision of  home based workers
  • Shares resources with families regarding various services, transition planning and attends all meeting with  outside parties
  • Attends IEP meetings as requested by parent 
  • Provides direction in emergency situations

 

 

Qualifications

Licensed professional with established competencies in working with children with special health care needs.  LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
