The Accounting Associate reports to theAVP/Controller and is responsible for assisting with maintaining the accounting systems for Seven Hills Foundation and its subsidiaries. Work is performed with a high degree of independence and under the supervision/direction of the AVP/Controller.


Summarizes and prepares various monthly recurring general ledger entries.
Prepares all required account reconciliations.
Assists in the management of cash flow and daily cash summaries.
Prepares various reports as needed or directed by the AVP/Controller, CFO, or Senior Vice President/COO.
Assists in budget preparation and other special projects.
Prepares various reports as required by the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Assists in the management of fixed assets.
Assists in work paper preparation for independent audit.
Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax filings.
Perform monthly financial statement analysis.
Assist with payroll analysis compared to budget.
Perform audits of client/house funds.


BS Degree in accounting or business administration with emphasis in accounting from an accredited college is required.
Valid driver's license required.
