The Cook reports directly to the Food Services Manager and is responsible for the preparation of meals, for the serving of food, and the cleanliness and sanitation of the school kitchen.
Prepares and cooks meals for residents and staff by performing the following duties:
Prepares food according to menu and the number of persons to be served.
Organizes food items on serving line at each meal.
Serves meal to residents and staff.
Washes pots and pans.
Must have ServSafe certification.
High School Diploma (or minimum of Certificate of Achievement from public high school in Massachusetts, documentation of home schooling equivalent to a high school diploma, or GED).
Requires a current valid driver’s license from state of residence.
