Team Supervisors provide oversight of the services provided to adults with varying disabilities living in one of our residential homes in the community.  This includes ensuring that staff are well-trained, residents are receiving the appropriate type and amount of supports, assists with managing the residents’ finances, medications, and appointments.  This position also provides direct support services to participants.

Team Supervisors are responsible for providing day-to-day services to our program participants. In addition to providing direct care, this position facilitates the ongoing on-site training and supervision of staff, manages participant funds, and operational and staffing budgets.  Assists the Residence Director to appropriately plan and schedule staff. Team Supervisor ensures that the participants social activities and community integration is meaningful and well planned, meeting their needs and all supplies required for the home are available. Team Supervisors promote compliance with medication management, appointment management, and dietary order compliance. Ensures all billable services are accurately documented and reconciled by deadline. Transports clients, to appointments, day program, and community activities, using agency vehicle, or personal vehicle as needed. This position works within a multidisciplinary team following all support plans, including behavior plans, and is responsible for accurate documentation.


Team Supervisors are provided a paid New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration. Comprehensive program-specific training at the work site is also provided.



Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of one (1) year of management experience preferred.
  • Physical demands: Sitting, pushing, pulling, carrying, grasping, speaking, listening, stooping, crouching, bending, standing, twisting, crawling, walking, climbing. Requires a normal degree of flexibility; ability to walk, run or shuffle, kneel on one or two knees and then stand up; to utilize upper and lower body strength within weight restrictions; May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds or more with assistance.
