Overview

Family Services of Central MA an affiliate of the Seven Hills Foundation is looking for Homemakers, Personal Care Assistants, HHA, and CNA’s to join our growing Home Care department. The primary purpose of a Personal Care Provider and/or Homemaker is to assist their elderly or disabled clients in their day to day lives, provide companionship, and observe their clients to report back any changes which may be medically relevant. To do this, a Personal Care Provider and/or Homemaker spends time in the clients home completing important day to day tasks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Light Housekeeping
  • Vacuuming
  • Dusting
  • Dry mopping
  • Cleaning the Kitchen & Bathroom
  • Changing Bed Linens
  • Emptying Trash
  • Laundry
  • Meal Preparation
  • Picking up groceries and/or Prescriptions
  • Personal Care such as Bathing and Grooming
  • Observing Clients General Condition and Report Changes

Qualifications

Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
Mature, reliable and honest.
Demonstrated interest in assisting people. Good problem solving skills
A capacity for compassion, common sense, self-discipline and a sense of humor.
