Under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Therapist will deliver outpatient mental health services and supports to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries within community-based settings (e.g., 24-hour residential programs, shared living/adult foster care placements). The position requires proficiency with the delivery of therapeutic services and supports using a community mental health approach. Must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams, which could include residential direct care, operational, medical, nursing, clinical, and/or community-based providers/agencies. Maintains compliance with Department of Public Health (DPH) regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion. Ability to perform primary job functions while standing for extended periods of time. Ability to use a Foundation-approved crisis management curriculum as trained/certified.
